How to achieve ISO26262 compliance?
To ensure compliance with ISO26262, each element of the system must be checked using the Functional safety principle. This process is not limited to the product, but also applies to the delivery framework on which the product is based. Therefore, for Safety-related system, the entire Safety engineering process must be confirmed.
Therefore, ISO26262 proposes confirmation measures, which are divided into three categories:
Validation review: involving work product objectives (Functional safety concept, software architecture design).
Audit: covers the implementation process related to process objectives (ISO 26262).
Evaluation: Conduct in-depth research on project or element characteristics related to process objectives (body control module).
